Liquid Amber Press is delighted to publish Anne Elvey’s poetry collection Leaf, which will be launched by Shari Kocher on 22 September at our Zoom Poetry evening.

Hear Anne Elvey read from Leaf and internationally acclaimed ecopoets Peter Larkin and John C Ryan will join us to read some of their poetry too.

Anne Elvey

Anne Elvey lives on Boon Wurrung Country in Seaford, Victoria. She is author of Obligations of Voice (Recent Work Press 2021), On arrivals of breath (Poetica Christi Press 2019), White on White (Cordite Books 2018), and Kin (Five Islands Press 2014), which was shortlisted for the Kenneth Slessor Poetry Prize 2015. Her chapbook this flesh that you know (Leaf Press 2015) was international winner of the Overleaf Chapbook Manuscript Award 2015.

Her writing on plants is inspired by Peter Larkin’s tree poetics.
